Psalm 127:3 says, "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord..." At Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church, we value children and we know during these times, children need a safe, supervised place where they can learn with reliable internet connection. The Heritage House is designed to do just that. Below, you will find more information about the services provided at the Heritage House, cost, and registration.

WHY?

Policies and protocols seem to change everyday regarding COVID-19 and in-classroom education. Considering this, we want to provide a safe place for children to complete their NTI in a supervised, learning environment with access to reliable wifi. We understand that in many homes, both parents work and taking off to stay at home with their children, may be difficult. 

IS INTERNET ACCESS AVAILABLE? 

Yes. 


WHAT ADULT SUPERVISION IS PROVIDED?

Tutors and volunteers will be provided to answer any questions students may have and provide structure. 

WHAT GRADES IS THIS SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR?
This service is available to children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. 


WHEN DOES THE HERITAGE HOUSE MEET?

This service is available Monday through Friday from 8a-3p. 


Early drop off and late pickup is available for an additional $20 per week, per household. The EARLIEST children may be dropped off is 7a and children must be picked up NO LATER than 5p.


IS LUNCH PROVIDED? 

Yes. 


If your children have allergies, please indicate that on the registration form. You may also indicate on the registration form is you would like to pack your children's lunch as well. 


WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING? 

Laptop/Tablet + Charger

Headphones

School supplies (Notebooks, pens/pencils, text books, homework, etc.) 

Mask/Facial Covering (If you would like your child to wear one).

Bible

Anything else you think your child needs.

PRICE

The cost is $50 for the first child per week. 

The cost for each additional child is $25 per week. 


For example, a family registering 3 children would pay $100 per week ($50 for the first child  + $25 for each additional child).

I'VE ALREADY REGISTERED, HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE NEXT WEEK?

If you've already registered your children, you can pay week to week by simply CLICKING HERE. 


HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED MY CHILDREN HAVE BEEN ENROLLED?

Space is limited. You will be notified via email to let you know that your children have been enrolled. Please provide a reliable email

when you register. 

covid-19 precautions

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

To protect against the virus, the following precautions will be taken:


1) The temperature of every child will be taken upon drop-off. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will need to wait until their children's temperature is taken. Children with an elevated temperature will NOT be permitted into the building. 


2) Proper social distancing measures will be taken. 


3) Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.


4) Frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized daily. 


5) Children who become symptomatic with COVID-19 OR who are exposed to someone who is symptomatic with COVID-19 WILL NOT participate in The Heritage House program and they will be required to cease participation for 14 days AFTER symptoms have disappeared.
