The Spiritual Discipline of Giving

THE MAIN IDEA: Every Christian should give regularly, generously, and cheerfully to support the ministries of the particular local church where he or she is a member. 

COROLLARY: the leadership of each local church is accountable to the members and to God to be good stewards in how they oversee and disburse the money because it’s GOD’s money, not ours. 

OUR GIVING SHOULD BE RESPONSIVE AND REGULAR

(2) Our Primary Giving Should be to Our Local Church 

(3) Those Unable to Give 10% Should Aspire to 10%

(4) Those Able to Give 10% Shouldn’t Stop at 10%
